Bidüşüntaşın is an Istanbul-based moving and storage company founded in 2009. We move homes and offices within Istanbul, from Istanbul to every province of Türkiye, and we store household and office items in our own warehouse. If you are an expat, a foreign company or a family relocating to or from Istanbul, this page explains how we work.

How a move works
- Survey: We look at your items, the floor, the lift and the access to the building, either on site or by video call.
- Written quote: You receive a written, fixed quote that states what is included: packing, disassembly, lift, storage.
- Packing: Fragile items are boxed and furniture is wrapped with blankets and stretch film. Boxes are labelled by room.
- Moving day: Furniture is disassembled, loaded, transported and reassembled in your new home.
- Final check: We check the items with you before the team leaves. Moves are carried out with insurance cover, and the terms are written in the quote.
Good to know when moving in Istanbul
- Building rules: Many residential sites and plazas only allow moves at certain hours and may require notice. Tell your building management your moving date in advance.
- High floors and narrow streets: In older districts such as Kadıköy, Beşiktaş or Şişli, streets can be narrow and staircases tight. An exterior furniture lift often makes the move faster and safer.
- Timing: The start and end of each month, summer and the days before public holidays are the busiest periods. Booking two to four weeks ahead gives you more flexibility.
- Address registration: Residents in Türkiye must register a change of address within 20 working days of moving. Foreign residents should also check the address rules that apply to their residence permit.
Pricing
The price depends on the volume of items, the floors and lifts at both addresses, the distance, the packing required and the date. Because every move is different, we give a fixed price in writing after the survey, so there are no surprise charges on moving day.
